Now that you’ve chosen the specific areas you’d like to improve, it’s time to list some goals. Start by thinking about how you want things to be different.
If "Family" is one of your categories, then you may want your relationship with your spouse to be better. So think about things you can do to make it happen. Should you have a date night? How about going on a vacation together? What about "family night" at home once a week?
If you chose "Financial" as a category, you might choose "Establish a 401(k) plan" or "Save ten percent of every paycheck." Or you might want to choose a goal that helps you increase income like, "Start a side business" or "Take a part-time job."
The process is the same for every category. Think about why you chose the category. What would you like to be different? Then choose goals to make that happen. You must have the same number of goals for every category. Don't worry about picking the "wrong" goal. Anything that helps you make things better will help and that's a good choice.
